Provitec has supplied the main router of the new regional centre of Televisión Española in Asturias (Spain).
Provitec has supplied the main router of the new regional centre of Televisión Española in Asturias (Spain). The router is from Utah Scientific and has the following elements:
Video frame of 144x144 with redundant crosspoint cards equipped with input and output cards to make a 96x96 SD router. The crosspoint cards support HD video up to 3G, so the high definition jump will be easy and with out complications.
System controller with redundant control cards. The controller is connected to UMD's system for the transfer of the router status and nemonics and to the proprietary automation system that TVE uses to manage the publicity in the regional disconnections.
Control panels:
- 2x Tactile panels UCP-MM as XY panels in the machine room and continuity.
- 2x Multibus panels UCP-MX for controlling the switches in each of the two studios.
- 10x Dualbus panels distributed thought the different areas of the centre.
